A second man has died following a collision on the A30 in December.

Police were called just before midnight on 18 December with reports of a Vauxhall Corsa on its roof having left the road and collided with a tree, on the A39 near Truro, just before the Norway Inn.

Emergency Services including fire and Ambulance attended the scene and the road was closed.

The driver, an 18-year-old man from the Roche area was declared deceased at the scene.

The passenger, a 19-year-old man from Bugle was immediately taken to Royal Cornwall Hospital before being transferred to Derriford Hospital. Police have now been informed that this man has since died at hospital.

Officers from the Serious Collisions Unit are appealing for witnesses, anyone with any information is asked to contact 101@dc.police.uk quoting log number 959 for 18 December.
