The CEO of Cornwall Chamber of Commerce has been fined for breaking a temporary speed limit on the A30.
William Kim Conchie, who is commonly known by his middle name, pleaded guilty under the single justice procedure to driving a Jaguar XK at Temple, Bodmin on June 1 at a speed higher than the 40mph temporary restriction.
Magistrates in Bodmin fined the 61-year-old, of Fenwick Road in Falmouth, £70 and ordered that he pay a £30 victim surcharge. Three points were also added to his driving record.
A second charge, of driving at the same location, on the same date, "otherwise in accordance with a licence authorising you to drive a motor vehicle of that class" was withdrawn.
