Falmouth to host "Guitar Whisperer"

A unique guitar concert is on its way to Falmouth next month.

Richard Durrant is playing at The Poly on Tuesday, November 10, as part of his tour, The Guitar Whisperer.

The main body of the show is performed on classical guitar but it also includes a version of Steve Reich’s Electric Counterpoint accompanied by animated film and Mike Oldfield’s Tubular Bells played on ukulele, bodhran and guitar.

In addition to over 60 Guitar Whisperer shows in the last year, Richard was also guest soloist with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall and made several appearances with the Grammy-nominated Emperor String Quartet.

The concert at The Poly is at 8pm on Tuesday, November 10. Tickets are £12 or £10 for concessions.
