Hospital situation in Cornwall remains serious following norovirus outbreak

The situation at Cornwall's three main hospitals remains serious today following the norovirus outbreak Following the closure of many wards and the transfer of some patients, the hospital has now cancelled all but emergency operations.
A spokesman said today that they would be contacting patients with booked for planned operations if and when they go ahead.
The RCH in Truro is the worst hit with Penzance and Hayle hospitals also suffering.
