Kids and their parents have been dressing up as celebrities to celebrate an exhibition at Falmouth Art Gallery.
The fun filled workshop on Saturday, February 6, saw families dressing up at a workshop based on Eve Arnold’s photogravures, which featured glamorous celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe.
Families were invited to dress up in a variety of different themed retro outfits from the era, provided by Ribticklers. They could then pose at the end of a specially designed star catwalk that was designed for the floor of the gallery.
The Eve Arnold photogravures, where a copper plate is coated with a light-sensitive tissue which had been exposed to a film positive and then etched, are part of The Master’s Master: The Art fund Hugh Stoneman Archive exhibition.
The exhibition can be seen at Falmouth Art Gallery until February 20.
