Shops and pubs in Falmouth were under a foot of water last night after more flooding led to rain on Prince of Wales pier.
For the second time in a month, businesses in Market Strand suffered after Falmouth was hit by the torrential downpours.
Punters and staff at the Prince of Wales pub did their best to stop the water coming in, but it managed to flow right back into the cellar.
The pub was the worst hit of five businesses affected by the rain.
Gail Parks was working behind the bar at the time.
She said: "It happened in minutes. Before you knew it there was loads of water and it went right out into the ladies toilets.
"This was the worst that it has happened for a few years."
