A programme of works to resurface sections of the A30 in Devon and Cornwall will take place in October and November to maintain safety for road users.
The A30 Loggans Moor Roundabout, near Hayle: Resurfacing, replacement of anti-skid and white lines from 22 November to 26 November 2010. Diverted traffic will leave the A30 at Treswithian Junction. Follow the old A30 through Connor Downs rejoining the A30 at Loggans Moor roundabout.
The A30 Carminnow Cross, near Bodmin: Replacement of anti-skid surface on the westbound on-slip from 20 to 22 October 2010. Diverted traffic will leave the A38 at Turfdown Cross, follow minor road through Treffry Roundabout to Lower Woon, turn right under the A38, then turn left onto the A389 to join the A30 at Innis Downs Roundabout. The work will be carried out overnight (between 8pm and 6am) to reduce inconvenience to road users and various slip road closures will be in place as the works progress.
Highways Agency Project Sponsor, Alexis Wood, said: “These projects to renew anti-skid surfaces will maintain safety for all roadusers on the key route into Cornwall.”
