A series of lectures on the the art world will begin in Penryn this Thursday.
They will be hosted over the next six months by the Independent School of Art.
Artists and academics will compare studios in the Falmouth and Penryn area, as well as take a general look at the future of art.
The lectures will take place at Penryn Town Hall on the first Thursday of the month, at 7pm.
This month Damon Taylor will talk on the topic ‘Do we need another artist? What’s the art school for?’ The lecture will be followed by an informal discussion in the Kings Arms pub.
A small donation will be collected at the start the lecture.
