FALMOUTH’S National Maritime Museum is celebrating after being awarded a certificate of excellence by the tourism website TripAdvisor.com.
The website has become the world’s largest travel site, where tourists give unbiased views listing what they like or don’t like about a destination.
The museum has been awarded exceptional traveller ratings over the past year and TripAdvisor have honoured this with a certificate for excellence.
Christine Petersen, President of TripAdvisor for Business said: “With a rating of 4.0 (out of 5.0), National Maritime Museum Cornwall has earned a place amongst the very best.
This award, which is only given to the most exceptional performers in TripAdvisor’s global business community, is a significant achievement deserving of recognition from both travellers and staff.”
Jonathan Griffin, director of the Maritime Museum said: “TripAdvisor is as honest as it gets, what you read is what that traveller has experienced, and we are so delighted that our reviews have excelled and that we’re consistently delivering an experience they rate amongst the best.”
