On a lovely September evening members were delighted to find the village hall with tables set out and decorated with flower arrangements in preparation for the Harvest Supper.

Congratulations were the order of the day at the July meeting.The president announced that four members had put an entry into Stithians Show and they were delighted to have won the cup.

When members entered Budock Village Hall for their meeting, they were intrigued by what looked like a pile of bed linen near to the president’s table.

Unfortunately the meeting started on a sad note. Vice chairman, Barbara Johnson, took the chair and told members that the husband of president, Jean Head, had died and that she was unable to be present.
