For our April meeting members enjoyed a talk from the Cinnamon Trust, but unfortunately their speaker was unable to attend and they contacted president Angela, who gave a resume of their work.

The May meeting took place at Penmere Manor Hotel where the chairman, Malcolm Wilding, introduced guest speaker Ian Halford to talk about the four years he and his family spent in Pakistan.

This week committee members brought images to be critiqued by members. There were a wide variety of photographs shown, with some designed to test our knowledge because they had no point of interest, unnecessary clutter in the corner of the frame, etc.

Falmouth Methodist Church

On Pentecost Sunday, pastor the Rev Roger Wyatt, assisted by Phil Ball, baptised six members in beautiful sunshine at Gyllyngvase Beach, Falmouth, followed by a barbecue and cakes.
