Treverva Male Voice Choir

On Sunday the choir with John Adams, musical director, brought the Falmouth International Shanty Festival events at the Customs House Pier venue to a successful conclusion.

The choir sang sea-related songs such as 'Sloop John B' and 'Shenandoah' but also included 'Jagerchor' in German from Weber’s Der Freischutz and, in Russian, choir favourite 'Kalinka'. There were also contributions from the choir’s informal ensemble, The Lemonaires. The final items were 'South Australia', led by Barry Norman, and as is the tradition, 'Trelawny'.

The choir is always seeking new members in all sections. Anyone interested in joining us please contact Ann Trudgen on 01326 210444 or email: ann.trevervachoir@hotmail.co.uk We practise each Monday at 7.30pm at Treverva Chapel.
