Another season has come to an end and everyone is looking forward to the August holiday. There was no better way of breaking up than listening to The Nightingales singing. A group of two sopranos and an excellent pianist gave member an hour of outstanding music with harmonised duets and solo items from each of the singers. The selection of songs was a mixture of old and new, classical and modern and the afternoon sped by.

Miriam Osborne expressed the appreciation of everyone and an enjoyable afternoon ended with tea.

The welcome back afternoon will be on September 7 with a catch up chat and a faith tea.
