This was celebrated in word and song and included contributions and readings from several members as well as carols from Canada and Czechoslovakia sung by Margaret Bird. The service was led by the Rev Geoffrey Bennett and the gift baskets from the Mothers' Union for those in Cornwall Women's Refuges were blessed. The collection was for MU projects worldwide.
