THE skies above Helston exploded with colour and light as crowds gathered to celebratre bonfire night and watch firework displays.
Helston Football Club hosted its biggest ever fireworks display with almost £4,000 of fireworks sent sparkling into the sky on Saturday evening.
The show was the ninth in a row for the club, with organisers saying support from the town was fantastic.
Organisers thanked everyone who helped out in the run up to the night and on the evening itself, from club stewards to the people who helped set up on the day and clear away afterwards.
Wendron Cricket Club also hosted a Guy Fawkes' night family party, with spectacular fireworks display, with rockets racing into the air over the village on Monday evening.
