A woman had to be winched to safety after a crash near Trannack School this morning.
A police spokesman said that at 9.45 am emergency services were called to the B3297 close to the school following a two vehicle traffic collision.
He added: "One of the vehicles left the road and was winched over a hedge in order to remove the driver. It is not thought that she has suffered serious injuries."
A fire service spokesman said that two appliances from Helston and a rescue tender from Camborne attended, with a total of 13 firefighters helping to release one female who was trapped in one of the vehicles.
A fire service spokesman said: "The female trapped was complaining of neck and back injuries, before the arrival of ambulance paramedics co responders treated the casualty.
"Fire crews used a triple extension ladder and small tools to free the casualty."
