Helston charity line-dancers boot-scooted their way to fundraising success in aid of Children’s Hospice South West recently.
The Line Dance Dance Marathon was held at the Goldolphin Club and raised just over £800.
A Chance to Dance line dancers took the floor for ten whole hours, from 12pm to 10pm, alongside cake, bric-a-brac and jeweller’s stalls for the spectators.
Wyn Groombridge, from A Chance to Dance, said: “Merv and I would like to personally thanks all our line dancers, the Godolphin Club and everyone who sponsored us for making our charity line dance such a success.”
The club meets on Monday evenings at the Godolphin Club in Helston from 6.45pm and Wednesday evenings in Carleen Village Hall at the same time.
