Breage’s taxpayers will see no change in their council tax bill next year after the parish council “froze” its budget.
Members set the precept at zero per cent for the 2013/2014 financial year but vowed to continue providing services as normal, including supporting the parish’s community groups.
Council chairman and Cornwall councillor John Keeling said that the zero rise recognised the “difficult financial times presently experienced by local government” and the “ever increasing financial burden” on council tax payers.
