Members of Helston and St Keverne Young Farmers’ Club experienced something of a drama last week.
This was all in a good cause, however, as they were practising for their entry in a regional YFC drama competition.
Gathering at the home of club secretary Christina Jenkin, those members not involved in the practise got involved in club maintenance.
The first drama round is to take place on February 2 at St Ives Guildhall, with the final a week later at St Johns Hall in Penzance.
Members involved in the drama will be practising once or twice a week until the performance.
Tomorrow, Thursday, members will receive a charity talk by the Farm Crisis Network, which is one of the charities the club is supporting this year. The talk is being held at Trewennack Chapel at 7.30pm.
