Next week marks the second birthday for Mullion Farmers’ Market.
To celebrate, this month’s market at Mullion Comprehensive School will include birthday cake for visitors, as a thank you to everyone who has made it a successful venture.
The market, on Saturday, April 27 will take place between 9.30am and 1pm.
Running alongside the special celebrations will be the usual stallholders selling everything from local meat and fish to vegetables, cakes, cheese and preserves, as well as plants.
The National Trust will also be there this month, with information about events in the area.
At each market there is a small café where visitors can enjoy a hot drink and sample the food they have bought.
The markets are usually held on the third Thursday of each month, with the exception of this month when the event has been put back a week, due to Porthleven Food Festival taking place this Saturday.
Happily, one of the market’s advertising banners that went missing in December has been found and returned – although there is still one to find.
Anyone requiring more information about the market should see its page on Facebook or visit www.mullionfarmersmarket.co.uk
