Annual prom night for Helston Community College students was held at the Falmouth Hotel on Friday.

The night marked the final time the year 11 pupils would be together before going their separate ways to sixth forms or vocational courses around the county.
The pupils were treated like royalty as they posed for photos and enjoyed a meal at the hotel.
The girls showed up dressed to impress, in a range of striking colourful dresses and looking stunning, while the boys matched them in the style stakes and dressed to the nines in smart suits.
Headteacher Dr Pat McGovern could even be seen sporting a tuxedo and enjoying the evening with his pupils.
Vehicles such as an iconic red double decker bus, a Rolls Royce and a large white truck were used to make an entrance as they started their prom night and finished their time as year 11 pupils of Helston Community College.
