A man has been airlifted to hospital after suffering head and back injuries in a fall at the Helston Railway site near Helston.
A search and rescue helicopter and a land ambulance were called to the site at Prospidnick this morning just before 11.30am.
The 64-year-old volunteer with the railway preservation company is understood to have fallen onto the railway tracks, after working on one of the vehicles at the platform.
The man has been flown to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth.
No details about the extent of his injuries have been released.
