Helston's mayor hold dance for charity funds
The latest Mayor’s Dance in Helston raised £250 for two charities in the town.
It was the second event of its kind to be hosted by mayor Mike Thomas and his wife Briege, mayoress.
Held at the Godolphin Club, it was in aid of the League of Friends of Helston Community Hospital and Helston Enterprising and Deserving Young People Fund – the two charities Mr Thomas has chosen to support during his term of office.
The Mayor’s Ball will take place on Saturday, November 1, with tickets costing £27.50.
