Firefighters were called to Bulwark road, Helston, on Friday after a report of wood chippings and logs on fire.
Six firefighters in one appliance from Helston attended a call just after 4pm and found ten square metres of wood chippings on fire.
Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish the 'accidental' fire.
A chimney fire in a home on Boscawen Road also saw a crew called out the same day.
Six firefighters on one appliance attended just after 5pm and used a triple extension ladder, a thermal imaging camera and a hearth kit to locate and remove the fire from the chimney.
