An ongoing tribute is to be paid to Mawgan’s war dead in the First World War.
The parish church bell |ringers are proposing to |ring muffled bells for the |village residents who died in the war, on the hundredth anniversary of their death.
The ringers have a list of nine names so far, prepared for Lindsay Hockley, with the first peal to be run on November 1 this year.
These will continue to be played on dates over the coming years, through to the final date in November 1919.
