Lovers of arts and crafts, or those looking for a Christmas present with a personal touch, should head to the second Hellys Craft Fair in Helston this Saturday.

Taking place between 11am and 4pm at the Old Cattle Market, it will showcase work from local crafters, photographers and artists.

Manager Sarah Vine said: “We were amazed at the positive response we had to our August fair. We are so pleased to have the opportunity again this year to highlight what local businesses have to offer people and also provide an enjoyable experience for both buyers and sellers.”

Some of the local crafts and beauty people exhibiting at the fair include: Alice Hole, Gweek Maid, Pretty Things from Pickle, Crochet Maid, NautiGal, Jewellery by Melanie Jayne, Poldark Wood Turners, ReCraft, Nana’s Cosies, Sew Beau, So Small Shoes, Fluff & Buttons, Meelie Moon, Beady Pool, Hamilton Glass Studio and Smellie Catz.

Local musician Sonny Ransom will be playing between noon and 2pm.

There will also be children’s craft activities, as part of the national Big Draw festival – with this year’s theme being It’s Our World, a celebration of the environment.
