Can you help with Gweek Christmas lights?
Volunteers are needed to help with refurbishing and putting up this year’s Gweek Christmas Lights.
Help is required for rigging every Saturday and Sunday morning from November 15, starting at 10am, and especially on December 6 and 7 to set up the green for the switch-on.
There will also be a fundraising quiz night on Thursday, December 4, and there are collecting boxes in the village shop and the Black Swan pub. The switch-on will be held on Sunday, December 7, at 6.30 pm with performances and readings from Gweek Band and Boskenwyn School pupils.
Anyone who has any spare time, and is willing to help with the light displays, is urged to contact Brian on 221652, Harold on 221077 or Bob on 221495.
