Firefighters were called to a fire in a Porthleven restaurant on Saturday.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service were called out just before 8am, with nine firefighters sent after reports of an alarm sounding and smoke seen in the property.
Crews found a small kitchen fire which had been extinguished, and the property smoke logged.
Firefighters used breathing apparatus and a positive pressure ventilator to clear the smoke.
Crews determined that the fire was accidental and confined.
