Helston parish church bells to fall silent for repairs
Essential work will be carried out to the bells of Helston’s parish church after a successful fundraising campaign.
Maintenance on the bells of St Michael’s will take place in January by John Taylor & Co, Bell Founders of Loughborough.
As a result, the bells will not be rung from January 4 until the work is completed in early February.
Helston’s bell ringers will be helping out the bell hangers on site, to keep the costs as low as possible.
