There was fun on the farm for pupils at Landewednack School as part of their latest geography topic.
This term the children in class three at the primary school at The Lizard are learning about food and farming.
As part of this the youngsters, pictured below, visited Treleague Farm at Ruan Minor, which is run by the Green family.
Judith Green is a teacher at Landewednack. Accompanied by her son Robbie, the children were given a guided tour of the farm and its buildings.
They were shown around the new milking parlour and all of the equipment and machines needed to produce the milk that is drunk every day.
Teaching assistant Lyndsay Bray said: “Saying hello to new born calves and a tractor ride made the afternoon thoroughly enjoyable for the children who may now be looking to a future in farming and agriculture.”
