With the maln found safe and well, the team were immediately redeployed to the Nancegollan area to help police search for a missing woman with Asperger’s syndrome.

Two foot search teams and two SARDAEngland search dog teams were deployed, alongside numerous police officers and air support from a Sea King helicopter from RNAS Culdrose.

Search dog handler Jim Gallienne, said: “I’m so proud of Izzy and her first missing person find, which makes the years of training all worthwhile.

"The dog team navigator initially noticed a suspicious movement, with Izzy following up to confirm the find and locate her exact position.”
