A gorse fire that blazed over three hectares near Mullion Holiday Park yesterday after has been classed as arson.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service received a call to reported smoke seen in the distance just after 3.30pm
Appliances from Mullion Fire Station were sent to investigate and quickly confirmed that three hectares of gorse was alight.
Cews used beaters to extinguish the fire.
A fire and rescue service spokesman said thta the fire has been classified as arson suspected and spread and that the police were informed.
