Police called after fire in woodland on Penrose side of Porthleven
Firefighters were called to the Penrose side of Porthleven after a report of undergrowth set ablaze in woodland.
One fire appliance from Helston Fire Station attended the report of a fire in woods just after 8.30pm with firefighters using one hosereel to extinguish about five square metres of undergrowth and wood that was alight.
A spokesman said that arson is suspected and Devon and Cornwall Police have been informed.
