Hundreds of runners gathered at Trannack School near Helston on Saturday, including teams from Falmouth and Penryn, for the annual Coose Trannack cross country race.
Runners from reception age up to year 12 ran a variety of courses covering distances ranging from 500m to 3600m in a bid to win glory for their school or running club.
Organiser David Stott said: “It was really good, the weather was good too.
“We got about 440 competitors overall. Everybody enjoyed it and we got lots of feedback.
“I want to thank everybody that helped put it on: quite a lot of people including all the parents coming along.
“A big thank you to all the volunteers that have helped from the school, lots of companies that have helped and all the sponsors.
“Without the volunteers we wouldn’t be able to put that kind of event on.”
