There was no shortage of youngsters willing to get messy in Porthleven on Saturday as groups of them turned up for a duck making workshop ahead of the port’s annual duck race this weekend.
Porthleven Community Group was behind the coffee morning and |duck workshops held at the Public Hall where participants were also invited to tuck into free cakes and |hot drinks.
The group has decided that this year’s annual duck race will be |held in conjunction with the skate park fundraising day in Porthleven on Saturday.
The race itself will take place at 3pm from The Moors playing |field behind Costcutter and next to the river.
The race will be opened by Porthleven’s Deputy Mayor, Barbara Powell, and there will be several prizes including fastest, best dressed and most stylish duck. All the proceeds will go towards Porthleven Skate Park.
