FIREFIGHTERS were called to a farm house in Treloquithack, Wendron on Monday morning after receiving reports of a roof fire.
The home owner called the fire brigade at 10.46 with crews from Falmouth and Helston responding.
On arrival at the detached farm house they found that the fire was in the chimney. Firefighters used one hose reel, a stirrup pump and chimney rods to put it out. Two thermal imaging cameras were used to check the building for hot spots and fire spread.
