Police are asking for help in the search for several motorbikes and pushbikes which were stolen from a garage in Helston on Monday night.

Thieves broke into the garage at Manor Close sometime between 11pm and 6am on the following morning, taking four motorbikes, four pushbikes, and two motorbike wheels and tyres.

Police are asking the public across west Cornwall to be on the lookout for four motorbikes matching the following descriptions: an Orange KTM250EXC, road registered motor bike, a white and blue Suzuki RMZ 250 motor cross bike , with an orange box called a transponder on the fork, an Orange KTM 250EXC road registered motor bike, and a CRX 250 F, road registered bike.

Also stolen were four custom built push bikes: A purple coloured Orange Alpine 160 26” wheel mountain bike,

an Orange Patriot, black in colour with gold writing and gold parts, a grey and blue Transition Court mountain bike with blue brakes and bearings and a blue seat clamp, and a yellow Commercial push bike with 26” wheels with red brakes and blue hubs, and two orange KTM motorcycle wheels with tyres.

Police are requesting any information in relation to vehicle movement or persons seen in the Manor Close area of Helston during the times in question, including sightings of a large van capable of carrying eight bikes.

Police are also asking for persons to be aware of the stolen items appearing on any vehicle sites, for sale or otherwise mentioned.
