The Mullion Garden is one of the very best community spaces in the UK and that is official.

The garden has been awarded a Green Flag for the fourth consecutive year. The award recognises and rewards the best parks and green spaces across the country. A Green Flag flying is a sign to the public that the space boasts the highest possible standards and is beautifully maintained.

"The Mullion Garden is a very special and peaceful place in the centre of our village," said Mary Kemp, chairman Mullion In Bloom Association. "It is unique in that it appears that it is the only one to receive a Green Flag award in the the south west that is not supported and managed directly by a large district or county council.

"We are extremely fortunate here in Mullion to have a very supportive parish council and a group of very willing volunteers who all work hard to keep all of our village looking beautiful throughout the year. "Their help is invaluable and contributes to making Mullion a very special place to live and work. We are particularly grateful to David Endean for his hard work, professional advice and guidance."
