On Saturday September 26, at 11am, St.Michael's Church bell will be tolled 100 times to commemoration the centenary of the death of Richard Leslie Stephens, one of the town's fallen in the First World War.
This is the latest man to be thus honoured as part of a collaboration between the church bell ringers and the Helston WW1 Heritage Project's 'Bells, Bravura & Blimps' scheme to have every man whose name is on the town's First World War Memorial commemorated.
