Following the success of previous fundraising efforts it seemed only natural for a Helston health food store to continue its support of cancer charity Macmillan.
This time around the Natural Store in Trengrouse Way collected £155 for The Cove Appeal, which is funding a new support centre for cancer patients at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro.
Shop manager Heather Cheney said: "It's something we're all very passionate about and the sooner it's built and running the better. I look forward to seeing it when it's completed."
To raise its donation, the Natural Store sold £1 raffle tickets from November through to after Christmas.
Customers were given the chance of winning a large hamper of goodies from the store and this year's lucky recipient, Joy London from Helston, has now picked up her prize.
Mrs Cheney said staff were "very happy" with how much was collected, with Mariquita Hichens from the charity visiting the store to collect a cheque on behalf of the appeal.
