Members of Helston and St Keverne Young Farmers Club are used to dressing up for their annual dinner and dance - but this year they took it to a whole new level.

Once the formal part of the evening was over, club members were able to add to their ballgowns and smart suits with a host of fun fancy dress accessories - producing plenty of laughter and some unique photo opportunities.

This year's dinner and dance, marking the end of the club's year, was held at Falmouth hotel Merchants Manor.

Following a sit down, three course meal, speeches were given and deserving members were presented with trophies.

It was also a chance for retiring club chairman Rachael Benny and secretary Frances Hosken to say bid farewell to their roles and hand over to the coming year's post holders.

Over the course of last year the club raised £3,150 through fundraising activities, which was donated on the night to a representative of the Headlands Unit Charity.

Dancing then began in earnest - kicked off by a surprise, choreographed routine from members, which they had only learnt the night before, to the delight of family and friends who had joined them for the evening.
