Anyone handy with a paintbrush is being asked to help Porthleven School save £2,000 by redecorating the junior hall.
Volunteers can go into the school over the weekend of February 6 and 7, between 10am and 4pm, to help with the painting.
Writing on Facebook, chair of governors Leigh Yates said: "If you are able to come along for an hour or so on either day your help will be greatly appreciated."
She hoped the offer of bacon butties and cups of tea might encourage volunteers.
Anyone able to offer their support is asked to contact Gemma or Katie in the school office on 01326 562249, so organisers have an idea of numbers.
