An art competition inspired by the magic of Flora Day has led to one Helston schoolboy having his work professionally framed.
Parc Eglos pupil Dylan won the public vote in a competition organised between the school and Helston gallery and picture framing business Pictures and Things.
Every pupil at the primary school was asked to create a picture inspired by Flora Day. Of these, 28 were chosen to be displayed in the window of the business at the top of Meneage Street, with members of the public asked to vote on which picture best represented the event.
Dylan received the most votes and his prize will be to have his winning artwork framed by gallery owner Guy Rippon.
