Even the inclement weather couldn't put the dampers on the Porthleven Homebrew Beer and Wine event at Hamill's Farm on Saturday (27/8).
Entrants brought in six beers, eight wines and 13 varieties of liqueur, meaning there was plenty of competition for the prizes.
Organiser Judy Collins said: "Graham and Denise Hall did a splendid job keeping up with the scores, as did Steve Nicholas running the barbecue through the day.
"The highlight of the afternoon was the huge box of veg provided by Steve Nicholas and Peter Collins, which raised £44 for the Porthleven Village Show.
"Donations and a raffle raised £187 which will be for the Mermaid Centre at Treliske."
The winner of the best home brewed beer was Woody Stephens, and Peter Collins was runner up, while Judy Collins was the winner of the wines category with Paul Almand runner up, and Jenny Harvel's liqueur was number one and Rosie Clayton was runner up.
Judy added: "A big thank you to everyone who turned up. Thank you to the brewers and all the tasters and everybody that helped with the event."
