Cardboard box blaze in Helston town centre
Three fire crews had a late call out last night after a large amount of cardboard boxes caught alight in Helston.
Two fire engines from Helston and a third from Mullion were sent to Church Street just before 11pm.
They discovered that the cardboard was well alight when they arrived and used a jet and a hosereel to put out the flames.
The crews then checked the area with a heat seeking camera to make sure there were no more hot spots.
It is not known how the fire started.
