A Porthleven man charged with child and animal pornography offences will appear in court next month, after being unable to enter a plea on Friday.
Andrew Grove, 41, of Parc an Maen, was due to plead at Truro Crown Court last week, but was hospitalised the previous night and unfit to be discharged on the day of the case.
He faces three charges of possessing and another three counts of distributing indecent pseudo-photography of a child, and one count of possessing an extreme pornographic image which portrayed in an explicit and realistic way a person performing an act of intercourse with a live or dead animal, all between May 4 and July 30 2015.
No defence lawyer appeared in court on Friday, as Grove is currently unrepresented.
The case was adjourned for 28 days.
