The team behind a series of exhibitions remembering life in the First World War is appealing for information for its fifth and final display.

Helston World War One Heritage Project is planning to stage “Served, Survived & Sowing of Seeds” - an exhibition commemorating men and women from Helston and surrounding areas, or whose families now live here, who served in the war and survived, along with looking at the seeds that were sown for the future.

The committee has a short list of relevant people to research, but would appreciate any families coming forward to add to their knowledge, particularly with photos.

The project team is also formulating plans to finish its work with a celebratory “Good Old Days” style music hall show. This will be held in June 2019, to coincide with the centenary of the official end of the First World War by the signing of the Treaty of Versailles.

Members are keen to hear from anyone who would be interested in doing a "turn" in the style of the era - particularly sought after would be a ventriloquist and an old fashioned magician.
