Slimmers in the Helston and Lizard area have raised pounds for charity after shedding a combined 244 stone since the start of the year.
More than 110 bags of clothes, shoes and accessories were donated by consultant Jo Wignell's Slimming World group members in Helston and Cury.
As a result, an estimated £2,750 has been donated to Cancer Research UK, though the Big Slimming World Clothes Throw.
Jo said: "I can’t quite believe how many bags we managed to collect. I knew my members were amazing but I didn’t expect such an incredible level of effort. It was almost like a purple sea of bags in group."
The bags will be donated to Cancer Research UK shops in the area, with each bag worth around £25.
The campaign is now in its sixth year and last year, nationally, £3.3 million was raised in two weeks.
"Collecting them up to take to local Cancer Research UK shops was a real workout in itself but all so worth it. To raise such a phenomenal amount for a charity that does so much to beat cancer, feels amazing," added Jo.
