Preparations are hotting up ahead of this year's Helston Motor Show at its all-new venue.
For the first time the event is being held at Wendron Football Club and is set to be bigger and better than ever before.
Making full use of its new home, the show's organisers are already putting together a diverse schedule of entertainment, from displays, demonstrations and attractions to suit the whole family.
Dubbed the annual Father's Day treat - this year falling on Sunday, June 15 - in actual fact the show has something for everyone, with rides and entertainers for young children, through to stalls and trade stands for adults.
Mick Timpson, who co-ordinates the Packet-sponsored event, said this year he had organised a breath-taking stunt show as one of the displays. More details of this and other attractions will be revealed in the Packet over the coming weeks.
As always, there will be displays of the latest vehicles on offer from nearby dealerships, putting the "motor" into Motor Show alongside the classic car display, for which over 150 shining motors will gather.
The deadline for classic car applications is running out, with anyone wishing to show their motor urged to submit their application form as soon as possible.
Forms are available at a number of garages and outlets in the Helston area, including Zoar Garage, Castle Green Garage, Mullion Garage, Double S Service Station at Ashton and Alligator Signs at Edgcumbe. Alternatively, go via the Motor Show website www.helstonmotorshow.org or contact Mick Timpson on 01326 573695 or 07505 790304.
