A well known dress shop that has supplied prom gown and Flora Day dresses to countless women in the Helston area has closed down.

Pam Jeffrey, the owner of Pam's People, will no longer open the Sale Cabin at Clodgey Lane, although she will continue to run the business from her home in Truro as she has done for 11 years.

Sales will also be held in Helston's Guildhall from time to time, with two already planned this year on Thursday, September 3 and Thursday, November 5 between 10am and 4pm.

Pam said: "I would like to take this opportunity to thank my many clients for their custom over the past few years."
